PENGARUH AIR TAWAR RADIATOR DAN FRESH WATER COOLER PENDINGIN PADA MESIN DIESEL GENERATOR DI KAPAL

The purpose this research was to prove if there any influence and how much influence between (1) Radiator performance in generator diesel engine at ship, (2) Performance fresh water cooler in generator diesel engine ship and (3) Radiator and Fresh water cooler in generator diesel at ship with factors often influence it.rnThis research used quantitative methods. The popilation was engine cadet 7 and 8 semester of PIP Semarang, already had sea project on board, and the samples are taken by random sampling tchniques, which amounts to 100 respondent. The data was collected by kuisener technique.rnFrom the result of the research concluded that: (1) there was any influence of (71%) between radiator performance toward generator diesel generator engine, with factors such as: water pipe leakage refrigerators (98%), water pump damage refrigerators (94%), Entering it air in fresh water cooling system (91%); there influence fresh water cooler in generator diesel engine as big as (67%), With factor among others: Treatment undercommunication in filter (92%), Damage in fresh water cooler pump (85%), Gland packing that long (81%) and (3) There radiator influence fresh water cooler in diesel engine (73%), With factor between laian: Water quality refrigerators not terawat (97%), Leakage in water duct refrigerators, Rubber packing that broken (92%), Crust existence and Korosi in duct or Plate in cooler (92%)
